बलदेव, जिसे श्रद्धापूर्वक दाऊजी भी कहा जाता है, उत्तर प्रदेश के मथुरा जनपद में स्थित ब्रजभूमि का एक अत्यंत पवित्र एवं ऐतिहासिक तीर्थ है। यह मथुरा से लगभग 22 से 25 किलोमीटर दक्षिण-पूर्व दिशा में स्थित है और भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के अग्रज भगवान बलराम (दाऊजी महाराज) की दिव्य लीलाओं से जुड़ा हुआ है।

बलदेव का धार्मिक महत्व

Baldev, reverentially known as Dauji, is one of the most sacred and historically significant pilgrimage sites in the Braj region, situated in the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, India. Located approximately 22–25 kilometers southeast of Mathura, this holy town is deeply associated with the divine pastimes of Lord Balarama (Dauji Maharaj), the elder brother of Lord Shri Krishna.

Religious Significance

The principal attraction of Baldev is the Shri Dauji Maharaj Temple, one of the oldest and most revered temples in Braj dedicated to Lord Balarama.

According to ancient scriptures and local traditions, Lord Balarama resided in this sacred region and performed many of His divine pastimes (Leelas) here. The temple enshrines the ancient and highly revered deities of Lord Balarama along with His divine consort Goddess Revati.
